Scatter The Outdoor Throwing Game Everyone Can Enjoy

Scatter is a fast paced outdoor throwing game that combines skill, strategy, and friendly competition. Originally inspired by traditional Scandinavian throwing games, Scatter has become a favourite for families, schools, parties, and backyard gatherings thanks to its simple rules and exciting gameplay.

What is Scatter?

Scatter is played using numbered wooden pins and a throwing baton. The goal is to be the first player or team to score exactly 50 points by knocking over pins and collecting points based on the numbers shown on the fallen pins.

Easy to learn but challenging to master, Scatter is suitable for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re playing casually with family or getting competitive with friends, every round brings excitement and plenty of laughs.

How to Play Scatter:

The game begins by arranging the numbered pins in a tight formation. Players then take turns throwing the wooden baton to knock pins over from a set distance.

• Knock over one pin and you score the number displayed on that pin.
• Knock over multiple pins and you score the total number of pins knocked down.
• Fallen pins are stood back up where they land, causing the playing field to spread out and become more challenging as the game progresses.

The first player or team to reach exactly 50 points wins. If a player scores over 50, their score drops back to 25, adding an extra layer of strategy and suspense.
