The Crokinole board is divided in to three scoring fields with an increase in value towards the centre. Players can only flick the disks from their quadrants outer line.
If there are no opposing disks on the Crokinole board then the upcoming player needs to aim for the centre hole. If the disk stay within the smallest circle or lands into the centre hole then it’s a valid shot. Failing from doing so, it is considered as invalid shot and the disk is out of play. Similarly, if the players fail to hit the opponent’s disk during their turn when there are disk lying on the board. This too can be considered as invalid shot and the disk is thrown out of play.
The disks landing within the scoring circle from outer to the centre hole will secure you 5, 10, 15 points respectively. The disks that land into the centre hole will fetch you 20 points. The points thus secured are added towards the end of each round. The side with the most points wins the round by the difference in points.
